Jared Jones was raised in the middle of a corn field in Illinois. He decided to go to college when he realized he was not smart enough to be a farmer. He majored in chemistry at Saint Louis University before attending medical school at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He also obtained an MBA from the Saint Louis University School of Business. He and his wife traveled to Minnesota for residency training, where he completed an Emergency Medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center. Though he enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine, he has particular interests in the field of emergency medicine ultrasound especially as it relates to critical care and resuscitation.
Jared and his wife are both new to the Southwest. They have always wanted to live in the mountains and are excited to finally get the chance. They look forward to trying to learn how to ski, as corn fields are not known for their ski slopes. They are also excited to dive in to all of the unique benefits of living in a vibrant community like Santa Fe. They cannot wait to learn more about the local communities and culture.
