TriState Care Flight

TriState Care Flight (TSCF) provides air medical transport services. Using both helicopters and airplanes, TSCF responds to on-scene medical emergencies and provides inter-facility transport, such as hospital-to-hospital patient transfers. TSCF has a base of operations in Santa Fe, NM. The Santa Fe base, known as Care Flight 5, comprises one helicopter and 14 staff members. TSCF has been in operation for over 6 years.

Health Front provides Medical Director administrative services for Care Flight 5 through a contracted physician. Health Front critiques patient care records to ensure that patients receive quality, effective care through TSCF. The physician also assists in developing quality treatment programs to meet patient needs, in evaluating and training clinical staff members, and in evaluating operations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and with regulatory agencies. The Health Front medical director for Care Flight is available for patient care and consultation on a 24-hour on-call basis. Dr. David Rosen is the program’s medical director.
