My heart goes out to the families involved in this week's horrific drunk driving accident. As an emergency physician, I am exposed to the ravages of alcohol-involved injuries and fatalities on a daily basis and I see the destruction that alcohol abuse causes in families and our community. As a parent, I am angry that this type of event has occurred again and truly saddened by this senseless loss of life. More
