Dr. Kate Stirling, a practicing emergency physician, is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and has been serving the communities of Santa Fe and Los Alamos since 2007. Dr. Stirling graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Spanish Literature, prior to completing her medical degree at Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan. She then went on to complete her residency training at Hennepin County Medical Center in
Minneapolis, MN.
After her residency, she joined the physicians at Health Front. She has been involved in numerous ways, including residency director for the University of New Mexico Emergency Medicine residents and the Family Practice residents rotating through Christus St. Vincent emergency department. She is also the ultrasound coordinator and is teaching emergency ultrasound to credential interested ER physicians per American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) guidelines.
Dr. Stirling has a passion for serving the under-represented communities and believes all people deserve equal health care. In her spare time, along with her family, she enjoys traveling to Peru and volunteering medical services to the indigenous and uninsured people of Peru.
Kate is married and is a mom to identical twin boys. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, running and traveling.
