Dr. Ryan attended the University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 1992 with a B.A. in English and Russian Literature. After spending five years in New York City,
she attended Temple University School of Medicine and received her MD degree in 2001. She completed a three year Emergency Medicine residency program at Temple Hospital,
and then moved to Portland, Oregon to complete a Medical Toxicology fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University.
Prior to starting at Healthfront, she worked in the Emergency Department at the Portland VA Medical Center. She has been board certified in Emergency Medicine since 2005.
