Dr. W. Raboff has been with Health Front since 1997. During this time, he has served as Chairman of CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center (CSVRMC) Hospital based Physicians, Medical Director of the CSVRMC Emergency Department, Member of the CSVRMC Medical Executive Committee and served as Medical Director for New Mexico Life Rescue, the first air ambulance service for our region. Presently, he serves as the Trauma Liaison for the CSVRMC Emergency Department and the lead Pension Trustee for HealthFront.
Dr. Raboff's teaching activities include Advanced Cardiac Life Support at CSVRMC, Advanced Trauma Life Support at the University of New Mexico (UNM) as well as educating UNM Emergency Medicine residents, CSVRMC Family Practice residents and Paramedic students in the Emergency Department at CSVRMC.
Dr. Raboff received his undergraduate degree in Animal Physiology from the University of California, San Diego in 1987. During those undergraduate years, he spent 5 seasons in the commercial salmon seining fisheries of Southeast and Aleutian Islands of Alaska. He completed his Medical Degree (MD) at the University of Southern California in 1991. Post MD training included General Surgery Residency at Los Angeles County/University of Southern California (LAC/USC) from 1991-1994, and Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Florida, Jacksonville from 1994-1997. Dr Raboff has been board certified in Emergency Medicine since 1998.
Dr. Raboff thoroughly enjoys practicing Emergency Medicine and providing care for the residents and visitors of Northern New Mexico.
Outside of practice, Dr. Raboff enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, as well as mountain biking and skiing in the Santa Fe area.
