Dr. J. Pierce, a practicing emergency physician, is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and has been serving the communities of Santa Fe and Los Alamos since 2006. Dr. Pierce graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Zoology, Chemistry, and German language degree prior to completing his medical degree at the University of Szeged, and New York Medical College. He completed his emergency medicine residency at New York Medical College, where he was voted "Resident of the Year" 2 out of three years.
Currently, Dr. Pierce serves on the Board of Directors for Health Front, an independent emergency medicine group with 24 board certified or eligible emergency physicians serving the community at two hospitals locally.
Dr. Pierce enjoys caring for patients in the emergency department, and takes pride in High-quality Emergency care for all who are in need.
In his free time, Dr. Pierce is an avid world traveller and linguist, and enjoys sailing with his wife, skiing, and all the outdoor activities available in Santa Fe.
