Dr. Jeremy Olsen is a board eligible emergency medicine physician and one of the newest members of HealthFront, serving the communities of Santa Fe and Los Alamos since 2009. He is a graduate of Luther College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology along with a minor in Spanish. He completed his medical education at the University of Minnesota in 2006. His residency program was completed at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. During residency he also completed the American College of Emergency Medicine Ultrasound credentialing program.
Dr. Olsen is the current physician representative on the ED Excellence committee, working towards improving patient flow and satisfaction throughout their emergency department visit. His professional interests include trauma resuscitation and emergency ultrasonography. Dr. Olsen has also worked and traveled abroad as part of his medical career, both with Himalayan Health Exchange to India and with the UNM Introduction to Global Health course in Nepal.
Outside of work, Dr. Olsen enjoys hiking the many excellent trails in northern New Mexico, is an avid downhill skier, is in his second season of competing in triathlons and in the time left over, brews his own beer.
