Dr. Bednarz attended the University of Minnesota, College of Liberal Arts and graduated with a BA degree in Microbiology and Anthropology. After graduating from college she remained in Minneapolis and attended the University of Minnesota Medical School graduating with an MD degree in 1996. She completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of New Mexico in 1999.
Dr. Bednarz has been board certified in Emergency Medicine since 2000 and has practiced both in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. She has worked exclusively for Health Front providing care at the CHRISTUS St.Vincent and Los Alamos Emergency Departments since 2002.
Dr. Bednarz has served in the past as Assistant Medical Director as well as the Medical Director at CSVRMC Emergency Department. As a HealthFront partner she has participated on the board and has served as Vice President of the group. She is currently devoting all her time to clinical practice.
